CAST: COUNTRY FARMERS wearing jeans and flannel.

00:00 -1:19
Walking thru woods, late afternoon. 1st person POV
Shots of the sun between leaves, shots of birds flying into sky

1:20 -2:01 (drums)
One by one, farmers arrive at a clearing in woods

2:02 -
They throw old, rotting, junky, rusty farm implements into a hole in the ground: shovels, pickaxes, tires, wheelbarrows, etc

3:26
The next day, farmers return to find new implements bursting forth out of the soil.
They get these and proceed to farm their hearts out. They put it to use right away.

CAST: PUNK BAND in leather, boots, spikey hair, tattoos

4:47
Sudden shift to city.
Walking thru the city, late afternoon, 1st person POV.
Shots of sun between buildings, chain link fences, trees.
Feet on concrete.

5:36
Band members arrive one by one at an open-air space in the city.
And they do the same with their instruments - throw them in a hole in the ground, then leave, to return the next day and find new instruments where the old ones were left.

6:47
Then they pick up these instruments and play their hearts out.

CAST: CORPORATE WORKING MEN in suits and cars

8:09
Sudden shift to suburbs. Sad-looking men in suits, leaving houses for the workday. They enter their cars and say goodbye to their wives. They drive down freeways. They get to the countryside. They gather around a deserted area, bringing their gear for the office.

They throw their gear into a hole in the ground: laptops, cellphones, briefcases, headsets, blackberries, batteries, ties, suit jackets.

Then they leave and walk home.

10:47
They reach home and embrace their families, free of their baggage.  Shots of smiles, and happiness.

CAST: MOTHERS /WIVES in aprons

12:38
Shift to interiors of several homes where we see mothers of all shapes and sizes. Cooking, cleaning, slaving over the house. These are the wives of the corporate working men from the previous segment.

15:05
These mothers begin to gather in a spot in the nearby village park to bury their aprons, cooking pans, and their tv guides, and their nailpolish, and vacuums.

They leave them all there and head back in time to welcome the husbands from their day of burying stuff in a hole in the ground.

17:17
Newly-emancipated husbands and wives are now sitting on the front porches of their houses, wondering what to do next.

Their freedom is met with silence. Night time is here. The sun has set.

The end.
